- Cared for a bedbound 86-year-old man with dementia. The elderly weighed 70+kg.
- Assisted in Activities of Daily Living including showering (twice a week with the elderly’s son’s help), sponging, changing diapers (including at night), dressing, feeding, turning & positioning (including at night).
- Shared a room with the elderly. Woke up at night to assist the elderly to change diapers, turn and position.
- Brought the elderly out to get some sun with the elderly’s daughter.
- Assisted in ROM exercises.
- Due to dementia,
- The elderly would forget where he was and would not know that it was his home. He could only remember things from the past.
- The elderly would occasionally forget if he had eaten and ask to eat again. Nur would pass him biscuits to eat and he would be fine.
- The elderly would refuse to shower. Nur would tell his wife as he would listen to his wife and agree to shower.
- The elderly would have mood swings frequently. Nur would tell his wife and she would come and calm him down.
- Served medications.
- Accompanied for medical appointments with employer.
- Performed housework.
- Cared for the elderly until he passed away. She was transferred to another employer.

- Cared for a wheelchair-bound 72-year-old lady with stroke, diabetes and dementia. The elderly weighed 60+kg.
- NGT feeding (for 6 months). Assisted with oxygen therapy (when hospitalised).
- Monitored blood glucose levels.
- Indwelling urinary catheter care (for 6 months) and administered suppository (bullet).
- Assisted in Activities of Daily Living including showering, changing diapers (including at night), dressing, feeding, transferring from bed to wheelchair and vice-versa, turning & positioning (sometimes, including at night).
- Shared a room with the elderly. Woke up at night to assist the elderly to change diapers, turn and position (sometimes).
- Brought the elderly out to get some sun.
- Assisted in ROM exercises.
- Due to dementia,
- The elderly would forget if she had eaten and ask to eat again. Nur would tell her she had eaten. If she still asked again, Nur would give her biscuit to eat.
- The elderly would sometimes doze off while lying on the wheelchair. Nur would wake her up and do some ROM exercise for her so that she would not sleep too much.
- The elderly would refuse to shower. Nur would talk to her slowly until she agreed to shower.
- The elderly would ask to go outside in the middle of the night as she could not differentiate if it was day time or night time. Nur would explain to her that it is night time and coax to go back to sleep.
- The elderly would have mood swings frequently. Nur would keep quiet and wait for her to calm down herself.
- Prepared and served medications.
- Accompanied for medical appointments with employer.
- Performed housework, grocery shopping and cooking.
- Cared for the elderly until she passed away.

- Shared a room with the elderly. Woke up at night to assist the elderly to change diapers, check up on her when she was not feeling well, turn and position.
- Brought the elderly out to get some sun.
- Assisted in rehabilitation exercises. Went to hospital for rehabilitation thrice a week.
- Due to dementia,
- The elderly would forget if she had eaten and ask to eat again. Nur would tell her that she had just eaten. If the elderly did not believe her, she would give the elderly biscuits or small snacks.
- The elderly would refuse to shower. Nur would talk to her slowly until she agreed to shower.
- The elderly would not know if it was day or night time.
- The elderly would have mood swings and scold her. Nur would keep quiet and said “good good” (hao hao in Mandarin) while waiting for her to calm down.
- Prepared and served medications.
- Accompanied for medical appointments with employer.
- Performed housework and cooking.
- Cared for the elderly until she passed away.
